The World Peace Prayer fountain sculpture is the sculptors dream of a major public art work intended to serve as a focus for the prayers of the community for world peace. The sculpture itself is a symbol of peace. Its placement in the community is symbolic of the public belief in the power of prayer, the desire for peace and the activity of working for peace. The sculpture in the studio (February 2002), in clay, full size with Collin and Zoi hand making the Peace Prayers in each language.

The modeled surface of the approximately 10 foot diameter cast bronze sculpture is covered with water and the international peace prayer: “May peace prevail on earth” in many languages. This prayer, conceived and promoted by The World Peace Prayer Society is offered by millions of people around the world every day and in ceremonies annually to contribute to the creation of peace in the world.
