Vessel form Sculptures

Here is a series of sculptures that involved 10 years of studio life. They are cosmologies. The field of cosmology is the joint effort of astronomers and physicists to understand the origin, evolution, and fate of the universe. Kaminsky's sculptural cosmologies are flowers and vessel forms.

The Punchbowl of Tiresius speaks about that moment when Tiresius encountered a pair of god-snakes at the moment of mating. The power of that encounter turned him into a woman. Since he had seen life from both sides his wisdom was much sought by many Greeks of that day. Dated 1984 and available in an edition of 30 pieces. It is X" x X" with a shipping weight of X lbs.
